3brothers
Brothers Mark, Matt, and Craig. I'm the handsome devil on the right.
grandpapk
My Grandpap Kalla at the Mesta Machine Works in West Homestead, PA.
I think Mesta was at one time the largest machine shop in the world but closed in the 80's.
I think the river scenes in the movie "Gung Ho" were shot near Mesta.
I took and actually developed the following pictures. We got some Bell+Howell developing set for Christmas one year which you could buy right off the shelf at like Children's Palace in those days, and later I bought a really cheap enlarger from the Penny's catalog. You could get some really neat toys back then.
grandmak
My Grandma Kalla outside her West Mifflin, PA home. Grandpap was probably waiting for us in the car. She didn't like her picture taken.
(Probably a contact print from 120 film)
mom
My mom sitting on my bed. Some of my middle school art hanging on the wall, later replaced with this
poster of Farrah Fawcett, neither of which I still have - although the poster can surely be had on eBay.
(Probably an enlargement from 126 film (the 120 camera used for some of these pics was actually hers))
4friends
Four friends growing up in Munhall, PA. Left to right my guess is Glen Hughes, Luke Lucas, Craig Boytim, and Mark Davis.
(Probably an enlargement from 126 film)
home
Our Munhall, PA home from my 4th to 10th grades. Also in the pic is the front end of my Dad's only new car,
a '72 Ford Gran Torino, and back end of my Mom's car, yes "It's a Matador!".
The Gran Torino later became brother Craig's first car.
(Probably a contact print from from 120 film)
