The Munhall Borough Building.

Trautman Field, the home of Munhall Little League Baseball. You can't see it here but Munhall is spanking the visiting team 3-zip in this 2006 tournament game. Munhall loves little league ball and this is a great place to find overzealous parents.

Falce's Restaurant on Main St. - eat here if you wanna feel young.

Jim's Drive In - this is really in West Mifflin, a neighboring borough to Munhall. A little spendy but locals claim they serve the world's greatest dogs - my wife's review, "It tastes like a hot dog.". Be sure to get Jim's special sauce.

The Ryan Hacke Memorial Playground - also in West Mifflin. Ryan was the unintended victim of gang crossfire which took his young life of only 14 months in 1997.

Ancient ruins? No, just the once mighty Dave Lucas Amoco under transformation to a Pizza Hut Express - good thing, too, 'cause the next closest pizza shop is nearly a block away.

Norm's Cycle Shop. This might be in West Homestead. Norm disappointingly updated his sign since I was a kid. Just tell Norm what you need and where it's parked and he'll have it for you the next day.

Lower Main St. - the scene of somewhat frequent high-speed car crashes including this 2:30AM'er. The car went through the pole that can be seen upper mid-picture next to its replacement, bounced off the hillside hidden by trucks, barely missed the next pole, crossed the street, bounced off the concrete wall, spun around and came to rest bass-ackwards against the guardrail. Fortunately no one was seriously hurt including the car's occupants who were able to flee the scene on foot.

This is some pic of the Waterfront area prior to construction that was for sale on ebay. Pretty cool, just not cool enough for me to spend any actual cash - I nabbed the jpeg instead.

More ancient ruins? No, just the site of the once mighty Munhall High School, later to become the Steel Valley Intermediate School. It was closed in 1978 and eventually demolished.

The 'new' Steel Valley High School, opened in 1979.
